The Annual Concert of DPS Barra and DPS Kidwai Nagar “UMANG-2019” was organized at DPS Barra, Kanpur on 10th December 19. Mrs. Bandana Misra, Pro-Vice Chair Person was the Chief Guest on the Occasion. Mr. Alok Misra, founder, DPS Barra, DPS Azaad Nagar DPS Kidwai Nagar and DPS Servodaya Nagar was the guest of Honour. Mr. Devavrata Misra, Member Managing Committee, Mrs. Rachana Mohotra, Director DPS Barra and Principal DPS Azaad Nagar graced the occasion. Umang – 2019 commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest of the occasion and the other dignitaries.
Principal, Mrs. Shilpa Manish extended a warm welcome to the guests and dignitaries and presented the Annual School Report.Students of DPS Barra took the audience to the spiritual journey and highlighted the glorious qualities of Lord Hanuman, in their divine presentation-Om Hanumate Namah. Umang- 2019 showcased the rich historical cultural and mythological treasures of our country.In order to depict the multidimensional Indian culture the talented students of DPS Barra presented a wonderful performance and set the stage on fire.Folk music and dance set the energy levels soaring with breath-taking performance in ‘Shan-e-Rajasthan’ which truly gave an insight into the historical and cultural diversity of India. The ‘School Choir’ took the audience on a melodious journey with a powerful message that education is the most valuable asset that humans can have.
